
Project Safe Thrift StoreThe Project Safe Thrift Store features clothing, books, games, household items, furniture, and accessories at bargain prices. Project Safe clients receive donated merchandise directly from the Thrift Store to help make their transitions easier. Each month, over 80 individuals receive in excess of 500 items at no charge. Browse one of the best book sections in any thrift store anywhere (lovingly maintained by our volunteer librarian), and feel good that your purchase helps Project Safe in our work to end domestic violence. If you find a piece of clothing that you love, but it doesnt quite fit your right, give it to our Seamstress Volunteer, Judy, who comes in generally from 12-3pm on Thursdays!Are you interested in making a donation? We gladly accept clothing, household goods, sheets, towels, furniture, and small appliances at the Project Safe Thrift Store. Donations are accepted during store hours Monday through Saturday 9am-5pm. To arrange for the pickup of a large donation, call 706-425-8863 or email April Byrne at abyrne@project-safe.org. Dalton Carpet Co. volunteers on the third Thursday of every month to drive around town and pick up furniture and other large donations. All proceeds directly support Project Safe services! You can volunteer at the Project Safe Thrift Store! Thrift Store Volunteers can help accept donations, prepare items to display on the sales floor, organize shopping aisles, or clean the store. There is no training requirement to get started as a volunteer at the store.
